NEC Restoration Show March 2026
Following on from our successful launch at the classic motor show in November, we returned to the NEC this March, for the Practical Classics Restoration Show.
Since our Launch just 5 months ago, the hub family has grown with both Rover Owners Club and the 75 & ZT Enthusiasts coming into the fold.
The Restoration show was our first show where all 3 of our club brands where represented, with an array of members cars on display. These Included:
On the MG Rover Hub stand, we had…
Rover 25 GTI owned by Michael Johns
Rover 45 Connoisseur saloon owned by Jake Howard
Rover Mini (in the style of the Italian Job) owned by Cameron Colls
Austin miniMetro owned by Colin Corke
MG ZS 180 Mk2 Hatch in Monogram Celestial owned by Matt Lynch
Over the weekend, both the Metro and ZS had work carried out on them, generating significant interest in both the cars and the club, this was also the first outing for the clubs Scalextric layout, which generated a lot of additional interest and we will be looking to build and develop the set up over time taking it on further NEC outings.
Rover Owners Club and 75 & ZT Enthusiasts Stand
The first outing for both these clubs at the NEC as part of MG Rover Hub, we had an excellent array of cars on this stand, these included,
1994 Rover ‘R8’ 420 GSI Tourer, owned by Harry Ingrouille
2003 Land Rover Freelander, powered by a 1.8 Rover K-Series Engine owned by Alex Champkin
2003 Rover 75 CDTI in Opaline Green owned by Steve Cleeton
2005 Rover 25 Mk2 Diesel in Monogram Chatsworth owned by Jason Hawkins
