Hello, I’m Jake and welcome to MG Rover Hub,

Rovers have been in the family since I was a little one, with my Dad running a P6, SD1s and latterly an 820 Vitesse.

My own journey began in 2008, when I bought my first ZT-T on my 19th birthday – my first job post-school and no financial commitments. A year later, it was replaced with a 75 Tourer, and joined by a ZT190. From there, it all went downhill with over 30 75s and ZTs bought and saved over nearly a decade between my Dad and I. That collection included a number of interesting cars, including pre-production models, and one of the Midsomer Murder 75’s, now residing in Belgium.

The ’fleet’ currently sits at 4 – two 75’s (a failed JDM spec Dorchester Red 75 and a 75 diesel tourer in Firefrost red) and two ZT’s – a V8 Saloon used to train technicians in 2003/4 and a ZT-T V8, that needs serious mechanical help.

For me, the MG Rover Hub builds upon the aims of the 75 & ZT Enthusiasts, to help owners through helping reintroduce parts vital to keeping the cars on the road, supported by correct technical knowledge. At a time where running a modern classic is arguably at its hardest, it’s through collaboration between enthusiasts, suppliers and specialists, we can assure these fine cars stay on the road for years to come.
